The Power of Virtual Operations

Many associations in the mid-Atlantic region had to close their offices due to the multiple monster snow storms that hammered the region in February. It even caused a major technology conference, as covered in another article in this issue, to cancel. I and Wes Trochlil of Effective Database Management were curious about how well affected associations were able to maintain external facing services even if staff could not get to the main office through the drifts. We conducted a survey to find out.
